Runaway Bay Junior Rugby League have a strong commitment to junior rugby league on the Gold Coast and look forward to creating opportunities for all junior players who live on the Northern end of the Coast. RBJRL is the only club on the Gold Coast to have a fulltime Development Officer.

The season may be over for most players but it has only just begun for some of Runaway Bay under-13s and under-14s players.

Awards

Runaway Bay players dominated the awards for the U16 and U17 competitions with 4 players taking out individual awards.In the U16 age group Eddie Brimlow took out Vikings rep player of the year and U/16 player of the year. Mitcham Ardler won the Southern Division Rep player of the year and Daniel Kelly was awarded the man of the match in the Grand Final. In the U17 Jordan Andrewes won the player of the year.
